The Twilight Phenomenon

So yes, shinny DAZZLING vampires. You've all heard about it, you've all wondered at it... so if you're like me and don't want to shell out the money to read these books that sound like something too ridiculous to be true, but are still kind of curious to find out exactly how ridiculous the whole thing is... I have found something amazing and wonderful.

An amazing person read the books and took notes during the ordeal which you can read HERE (That is page one of the fourth book, but it contains links to the first and middle ones.) I read the first book, Twilight, but didn't feel the need to continue my education into the sparkling vampire universe... and I'm really glad I settled on reading this commentary instead, because I think I might have gone insane if I'd read the actual books. So I jumped ahead to the last book summary, and didn't seem to have missed out on very much.

And let me just say that I cannot imagine them making all the books into movies and keeping it all PG-13. There is some crazy stuff happening!!! Blow your mind crazy! And undertones to keep you there!

Just thought I would share.

Time to dust...

So I have only been doing fanart recently... and that all goes on dA so this blog is feeling much abused.

Nothing is going on. Life is the boring-ville right now... But I'm going to put some stuff online to see if I can't pick up little freelance jobs until August. So hopefully things will get better. If not, I just have to wait around for Comic-Con where there will be too much going on to actively process until I'm back at home! YAY.

I'm super disappointed, because the anime I used to watch on gofish.com has been taken down and all that remains are a few music videos..arg! I wish this meant the DVD was coming out soon, but there's still no posted date for anytime in the near future... I am very sad.

I <3 my grandparents

I think it's funny that out of my entire family, I get the most emails from my grandma and grandpa. They're getting so tech savvy! Also they're always doing nice things for me when I see them, so I made a little painting of their dog real quick to send along in one of my replies.





He's a spoiled rotten sort of ENORMOUSLY cute dog. They just got wood floor in the family room downstairs, and playing with him is now AMAZING because he skids all over the place, hehe. He loves me cause I play with him, I love him cause he's such a sweet puppy dog.
